I met Jon in one of his listing, and really liked his market knowledge, being straight forward and being realistic. He gives you the straight answer whether you like it or not, and unlike other agents never tells you what you like to hear to benefit himself. he is more like a consultant, than a agent, and whether you are selling or buying a home. We met Jon 3 years ago when we were looking for a home on the Westside in Los Angeles and he was extremely helpful in presenting us with options that were in our budget and style. We saw a new construction that we were very interested in and he contacted the builders and negotiated a sale pre market for us. He lead us through the process which was long and arduous with such patience, insight, and expertise, negotiating on our behalf and making sure that everything was taken care of above and beyond a normal sale. He worked with my mortgage broker, and builder to assure that we were getting our needs met. Lauren was a great addition to our experience when it came to the punch list, staying on top of the details and following through repeatedly to assure we were cared for. I have previously dealt with James when he was an agent in London so when I went to LA to look for a property it made sense to speak to him again. I was only in LA for 4 days so didn't have much time to get organised but James managed to arrange a number of viewings, gave me star treatment and we managed to tie something up with one day to spare. Having moved out of state we wanted to buy a house in our new location so we decided it was time to sell our condo in West Hollywood. We told Jon we needed to sell fast so we could put any proceeds from the sale towards the new house. Being out of state we needed a Realtor we could trust because we would not be physically present during the sale process. Jon went above and beyond what we could have asked of any Realtor. He acted as our representative with our tenant during the move out process including helping to assess the security deposit refund, collecting keys, etc. He sourced and coordinated repairs and upgrades to the condo in addition to furniture staging in preparation for the sale.
