Ty James brings a dynamic, people-first approach to real estate, shaped by over a decade of living in Los Angeles and a career rooted in connection, adaptability, and trust. As a member of the Stewart Team at Resident, Ty services West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Studio City, with a broad reach across Los Angeles.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Ty attended The Ohio State University, where he studied Nutrition and Business. He relocated to Los Angeles to pursue opportunities in the entertainment industry, where he developed a strong network and a deep understanding of the city’s culture and pace. That experience sharpened his ability to navigate diverse environments and connect with clients from all walks of life, an edge that translates seamlessly into real estate.

With 3.5 years in the industry, Ty is known for his attention to detail, natural charisma, and highly personalized approach. He views each transaction as more than a deal, it’s an opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through one of life’s most meaningful decisions with clarity and confidence. His familiarity with neighborhoods like Beverly Grove and the Sunset Strip allows him to offer nuanced, local insight that elevates the client experience.

Outside of real estate, Ty is deeply committed to his community. He trains in Jiu Jitsu, serves through his church, Mosaic, and is actively involved in youth mentorship. He also values time spent with his wife and continues to invest in personal growth both professionally and personally.
