Words can't describe how positive my home buying experience was with Cody. This was a huge step for me as a first-time home buyer, who was going at it alone. I really had no clue what I was doing. I was worried that a real estate agent wouldn't want to work with me, as I didn't really know what I was getting into and knew I would have a million questions throughout the process. Not with Cody. He never made me feel less than. I always felt like I was his #1 client, and I know he has many. He was there for me - whether it was via email, text, phone call - answering my numerous questions and guiding me through the entire process. He is extremely knowledgable! I cannot stress this enough. Not only does he know about the market and houses, but about contractors, inspections, codes and laws, mortgage rates and the difference between certain lenders, the perks and downfalls in specific areas, vendors that are really great (i.e. home security, flooring, termite inspections, etc) - literally he knows everything. As you look for a real estate agent, please remember that it is an emotional, stressful, and taxing process. You need someone who treats you with respect, is patient, and knows absolutely everything that comes into play when buying a house. Cody is the man for the job. I should also mention, that not only is he extremely responsive, but he has a wonderful sense of humor and is a true joy to be around. The dozens and dozens of showings we went to together were actually fun and enjoyable because of his positive attitude and friendliness. I felt like I had a partner through the whole process, and one that was an expert. Cody never felt like some typical real estate agent who just wanted to sell a house and make money. I looked at every property on MLS that came through that fit my price range. And the one property that I disregarded because of what ended up being a stupid reason was the property that became my little dream home. It was Cody who encouraged me on a day of showings to take a look at it, as he knew it was a gem and knew exactly what I was looking for. He was right. Cody, thank you for (politely) pushing me out of my comfort zone. Because of you, I am living in my first home that is absolutely spectacular!

We were introduced to Cody by a longtime friend who works with him. It's been a crazy time to buy and Cody was amazing on every level. He was available 24/7 on text/email/ phone and we really saw how hard he worked. We never felt alone in the home buying process. There were a ton of moving parts and he managed everything better than we could have hoped for. In the process, we met several other seller brokers that seemed outright lazy compared to the team at The Agency that was working so hard for us. They are smart, fast, compassionate, and solutions-driven. In addition, Cody put up with layers of my personal stress and emotions about buying a home --he went above and beyond and is a lovely human being that I am glad we know. We highly suggest working with Cody, Jon, and this team -- you won't be let down during any part of a grueling process!

As first time home buyers, we knew absolutely nothing about the buying process. Walter made every step of the way easy and cohesive to follow. Whenever we had any questions he was always a text message away and gave speedy replies. We'd never bought a house before and weren't exactly sure what to expect. Cody had been highly recommended to us. Let me tell you he (and his entire team) EXCEEDED our expectations. He is incredibly easy to work with, knows his stuff when it comes to homes, resale, inspections, specs, etc. He was great about responding to calls/texts at any hour, he always got back to us to make appointments, he was incredibly flexible with his schedule and his advice was incredibly useful. He wasn't pushy at all, worked with our budget, and gave great advice about areas, pitfalls to look out for, future resale, etc. His team was also lovely to work with.
