Why We Left Traditional Brokerage
We left the traditional brokerage model because we felt called to build something more tailored to the way we work—and the way our clients live.
We spent years operating at the highest level within respected firms and are grateful for all that experience taught us. But over time, we felt limited by the systems and structures in place—many of which no longer supported the level of personalization, creativity, and flexibility we wanted to offer.
Resident was created to embrace a new kind of freedom—one that allows us to lead with clarity, move with intention, and prioritize relationships over rules.
By stepping outside the traditional framework, we’ve created space to do our best work—for our clients, our agents, and the industry as a whole.
We didn’t leave out of frustration.
We left to create with purpose.
